When it Rains it POURS!(Did I mention I love the rain?)

Hooray!! When the Lord blesses you... he REALLY blesses you!

Hello loved ones!!

We have been fundraising with banana bread for just about two weeks now(one week of baking) and OH MAN! We are doing great! I want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who's helping by purchasing some banana bread, YOU ROCK!

Every time I talk about the banana bread my heart is filled with love and gratitude to my amazing friend, Katie! She is doing so much for me, and helping me to fundraise! She's amazing and I want to give another HUGE thank you to her! She is just as passionate about this amazing volunteer experience as I am! <3 She is the main baker of these banana breads and mmmMmmMmm she makes yummy banana bread!

So, I have a few updates, small but still updates :]

t-shirts:

The fundraising with the t-shirts is finished! There was 30 orders of t-shirts! WOOHOO!! Thanks so much to all of you who ordered a t-shirt or two or three or ten! haha You are all amazing and I am very grateful for your love and support!

*NOTE* Please remember that when you do receive your t-shirts in April, I would REALLY appreciate it if you could take a picture of yourself with your shirt on so I can post the pictures and show all you amazing supporters!

Banana Bread:

We are doing amazing! YAAYY!!

You can purchase the Banana bread until the end of April! If you haven't placed an order yet, you can email: bread4africa@gmail.com and put in your order.

UPDATES:
There is a big meeting going on this Saturday, that we will finalize some things to do with the trip and hopefully I have will more updates to tell you all!

For those who have been anxiously awaiting my placement with an NGO, I'll let you know that it has been delayed due to the university getting a risk assessment officer to review the internship location and a few other things. So, we had to put off the placements, so the dean has just recently given us the "okay" to continue with our placements! I hope it won't be much longer, as I am getting anxious myself!

I have started to collect some little keychains and stickers and other little toys and toothbrushes to give to the people and the kids in Tanzania! I am hoping to get around to local businesses to see if they would like to donate anything to add to the items I am taking for the people!

It is getting really close to my 30 day countdown! Wow! Time is flying by rather quickly and I am loving every moment! I am getting increasingly excited as it gets closer and closer to this amazing opportunity!

I bid you farewell and speak to you soon! Thank you again loved ones!
